What is a Backdraft Stack Head?

Backdrafts have a flap that opens by the force of the air when the fan is on. When the system is off, the flap frowalls back to close off the stack to seal out rain and the backflow of air that would fall back into the system

Materials of Construction:

  • PVC Temperatures up to 140° F
  • CPVC Temperatures up to 200° F
  • PP, PE & PVDF available, these O.D.'s differ due to metric dims

PVC Classes 12454-B&C per ASTM D-1784-92 (Formerly known as Type I, Grade 1 & 2)
