Corrosive Environment Ventilation
The use of corrosive chemicals across a wide variety of industries creates the need to safely handle the fumes they emit. Left unventilated, they pose a corrosion risk to machinery, tools and even the building walls and roof. Plus, they present a danger to employees. Chicago Plastic Systems designs, builds, and installs ventilation systems to capture and neutralize these fumes.
We will work with your personnel to design a system based on your plant layout, chemical constituents, type of process, temperatures, concentrations and desired results. Our recommendations are to meet or exceed the standards set by the ACGIH and we build our duct to SMACNA standards.
Most applications can be fabricated from PVC, but we can also provide systems made from:
- CPVC- temperatures over 140F
- Polypropylene-certain chemicals not compatible with PVC/CPVC
- HDPE-
- PVDF-very aggressive chemicals
